
KATHMANDU: An exhibition of Nepali artworks, entitled V-19, showcasing creations of as many as 19 artists would conclude at the Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal on Friday.
The five-day exhibition was inaugurated by Mahabir Pun, a widely known figure for his contributions in introducing wireless technologies in remote areas of the Himalayas. The exhibition aims to support him in establishing the National Invention Centre by providing half of the proceeds.



The first artwork sold at the exhibition was the one by artist Jaya Sharma.
As many as 73 creations are on display and they are priced from Rs 10,000 to Rs 200,000.
The pictures have themes of freedom, awareness, humanity and social responsibility.
