Five arrested with automatic weapon in Jumla

Five persons have been arrested with a Short Machine Gun (SMG) and its bullets from Bumramadi Chaur in Jumla district.A pistol, its three bullets and seven bullets for SMG were also recovered from the arrestee, said DSP Bishnu Hari Koirala.

Police patrolling in the district was increased after high numbers of looting cases were reported in the district for the past one month. “We are investigating the incident. We may also recover other weapons,” said DSP Koirala.
