The
Finance Committee of Legislature-Parliament has directed the government
to pass the Appropriation Bill and other three bills related to it
through a political consensus.
A meeting of the Committee that took place at Singha Durbar on Thursday instructed the government to endorse the Finance Bill, Loan and Guarantee Bill (with amendment) and Bill to mobilise National Debt along with the Appropriation Bill, according to Committee Chair Prakash Jwala.
Stating that delay in passing the bills may affect the country's economic cycle, the Committee issued directives towards that end.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, who also attended the meeting, assured of having all the bills endorsed through a political consensus soon. RSS
