There is no fun in being alone. The expectations created by the Hollywood movies and TV series were nothing but a white lie. Living in a new city isn’t all that fun and exciting as I was lead to believe.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday said it will resolve the current crisis in the country's cricket governing body by forming an advisory board which will move into a direction of forming a new cricket board in the country.The ICC had on April 26 suspended the CAN in view of government interference in the board apart from a disputed general assembly that elected a new committee under Chatur Bahadur Chand. National Sports Council (NSC), which had no support to the general assembly, had responded by forming an ad-hoc committee before ICC went on to suspend the membership of CAN.The board, which will comprise of five to seven members, will be mandated to look after the domestic and international cricketing events of the country apart from holding elections to transform CAN into a cricket board.ICC is yet to finalise the members in the advisory group which it said will give a complete shape in a span of 15 days. The ICC announcement comes after David Richardson, chief executive of the cricket's world governing body, met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the early hours of Sunday.
Richardson, who also met Youth and Sports Minister Daljit Shripali on Sunday, landed here on Saturday night to address the crisis in CAN. Richardson said the suspension of the CAN will remain until a cricket board is set up at its place.The advisory group will work in coordination with the ICC, while the international funds blocked in excess of $900,000 will remain freezed with the ICC channeling it for Nepal when required. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Minister for Youths and Sports Daljit Shripali held a meeting with a team of ICC led by ICC Executive Officer David Richardson in the Capital on Sunday where an agreement was forged to form the Cricket Development Board.It is said the proposed board will have a complete structure within three months and required officials will be appointed.Executive Officer Richardson assured PM Dahal that the ICC will remove the ban on Nepali cricket and will resume financial assistance and other benefits for the development of cricket in Nepal soon after the formation of the board.
