Aug 16, 2016- Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed Ministry of Labour not to send migrant workers to Afghanistan unless full assurance of security.
A team was formed to conducted onsite study on the security situation in Agfhanistan following the death of 13 Nepalis in a deadly blast in June.
PM gave such instruction on Tuesday when the team submitted its report.
The report recommends sending Nepali migrant workers only to those places in Afghanistan with proper security arrangement. However, decision regarding not sending the workers to Afghanistan came after discussions with the PM, according to the members of the team.
